This track was featured on the annual Reyk Veek compilation, which is released around their Ultra Violence party as a part of Reykjavík Fashion Festival. This track will also be released on Gaston’s new label Freerotation Records and hopefully with our special version of the track. Release date TBA.

Some of you may have heard this (old song) in, one of the best mixes of 2011,Maya Jane Coles’ RA podcast #241 mix as the second song. Unfortunately the mix is hard to find these days as it has been taken down from ResidentAdvisor and most likely every soundcloud site (that has it). What a mystery!!!
We have it though! HAHA!
Anyways. This song was released in 2010 by the producer, the DJ, the originator of a radio show Radio Air Libre, and the party organizer called Diego known as DC Salas.
It has this awesome (this word has been ruined by scumbags and stupid people) feel to it. It gives a bit of a sweet vibe but with a seasoning of dark and trippy feel. And that extra texture of that strange lead sound, just makes the song SO GOOD!

German producer & DJ, Dave DK, has been in the music business for a couple of years now. Starting out and experimenting, influenced by the 90’s techno scene, Dave, along with his friend, made a track 17 of age in 1995. They were both deeply involved in an organization throwing underground techno & house parties in their attempt to spread the genre around.
This December 9th, Dave DK, released his somewhat mysterious, sublime, smooth sounding and oh-so-deep track Byway.
As we listened to it while preparing for a gig at Barbara, a local bar in Reykjavík, we didn’t think much of it. But little did we know that we were going to start the set with this track and feel completely amazed by the production and the wavy feel to the grove.

Cera Alba is a UK based producer/DJ who recently signed with Jamie Jones and Lee Foss’s label, Hot Creations. This tune here is not released yet and no date for it has been set. This tune is so f**king sexy and we want to make love to it all night long. Cera Alba is a name that you should keep your eye on in 2012 or at least we will.
Johnny White from Art Department recently did a interview with Bright & Shiny. He made it clear what he thinks of Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello about that video with him DJing without headphones floating around.
JW: I just heard some fucked up shit, actually. That Steve Angello was caught DJing a mix CD, and his response to it was something like…
B&S: “Oh, I can DJ without headphones!”
JW: Honestly, I’ll go on record right here: Steve Angello, you’re a jerkoff. That’s some fuckin bullshit, right there. The fuck are you getting paid for? This guy’s getting paid five times what I am… he’s a fucking joke, and don’t get me started on his music.

Motor City Drum Ensemble just killin’ it at the Boiler Room .
He was in Iceland last summer. We actually met up with him at a local record store. We chatted with him for a quarter hour about records, his stay in
Iceland and his upcoming show that evening as he surfed through
hundreds of records, had a few laughs and went our ways.
We headed to a party @ Mr. Cuellar’s place.
About 4 hours later we met him again backstage at Faktorý, a
club in midtown Reykjavík, and he had bought about 60 f*ckin’ records!
His set (vinyl only) that night was so pure, so smooth, so sexy and just so good.
The room was completely packed and everybody was going nuts
as he laid his needles on his new vinyls, like it was simply a nice evening and a slow party-dance in his living room. What a great night! Everybody had fun!
Recently he played at the Boiler Room. Amazing set!
